I’m just an ordinary woman who happens to be obsessed with health, wellness, nutrition, and longevity. I read a lot of books. I follow nutritionists, scientists, doctors and their ilk on social media and watch their TED talks. I try to incorporate what makes sense into my life and I write about that here.
I get a lot of criticism for having the audacity to write about subjects I’m not a classically trained expert in but I want others to know that it’s okay to be interested in science without having a PhD. It’s okay to give others your recipes if you aren’t a chef. It’s okay to try things for yourself and share information back and forth with your community.
I’m not a doctor, so please don’t take any of my personal anecdotes as medical advice. If I talk about a supplement I like please do ask your own actual doctor about it! I’m not a scientist but the scientific journals are accessible to the public and I take advice and interpretations from other scientists whom I follow on social media. If I get something wrong please let me know and I’ll be happy to update a post.
The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences as I experiment with various aspects of health, nutrition, and longevity. I hope you’ll join me!
There are affiliate links in some of my blog posts wherever they seem relevant but this isn’t my day job. Proceeds from them help keep this blog running.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
